They deal with only one or two breeds and do not seek profit in breeding. They never sell their dogs to irresponsible people and screen potential buyers and their families for suitability before selling their dogs to them.

Some kennels claim that they raise only miniature or pocket-size dogs. Breed fanciers who want to own a very small animal should not swallow such a bait and trust such irresponsible kennels since the AKC doesn’t classify this breed according to the size. Actually, very small puppies occur sometimes in a litter with normal ones. They are usually premature and are not fully developed, because they have been conceived a week or so later than their littermates.
