Before purchasing a puppy, please, make sure you are buying from a conscientious and reputable breeder. Responsible breeders never keep large quantities of dogs and only sell to reliable people. They cooperate with other breeders and breeding clubs and work toward the perfection of the breed on a global scale. Reputable breeders do their best to receive detailed information about potential buyers, their homes, families and their attitude toward dogs. If a breeder is not sure the buyer has what it takes to be a good dog owner, he or she will not sell puppies to this person.

You have no guarantee that the dog is socialized and healthy. Such dogs often end up in shelters and rescue organizations. It is very important to visit the breeder and see the conditions in which the dog was raised and see the parents to have an idea what your dog will look like in future.
